Author Guidelines
Preparing Your Manuscript
Authors are required to prepare manuscripts according to the JITSE manuscript template and the formatting requirements described below. Authors should ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, clearly written, scientifically sound, and relevant to the scope of the journal.
JITSE 2026 Manuscript Template
Authors are strongly encouraged to use the official manuscript template when preparing their submission.
Manuscript Specifications
A4
Manuscripts should be prepared on A4 paper.
Times New Roman
Main manuscript text uses 10 pt font.
Single
Manuscript text should use single spacing.
Maximum 20 Pages
The manuscript should not exceed 20 pages.
Page Margins
Title, Authors & Affiliations
Article Title
The title should use the fewest possible words while accurately describing the content of the article. Avoid unnecessary phrases such as “A Study of...”, “Investigations of...”, “Implementation of...”, “Observations on...”, “Effect of...”, “Analysis of...”, or “Design of...”.
Authors
The manuscript template allows a maximum of five authors. Author names should be presented consistently and accompanied by their institutional affiliations.
Affiliations & Email
Each author's faculty/department, university or institution, city, and country should be provided. Author email addresses should also be included. The corresponding author must be clearly identified.
Abstract Requirements
Abstract
The abstract should be informative and self-explanatory. It should clearly identify the research problem, proposed approach or solution, major findings, and conclusions.
- Use past tense.
- Use standard nomenclature.
- Avoid unnecessary abbreviations.
- Do not include literature citations.
Keywords
Provide relevant keywords that represent the main concepts of the manuscript and support discovery through indexing and abstracting services.
Recommended Article Structure
Background, problem, relevant literature, approach, and research contribution.
Research design, procedures, data acquisition, testing, algorithms, or pseudocode.
Research findings and comprehensive interpretation of the results.
Main conclusions and potential implications or future research.
May be included where appropriate.
Follow IEEE reference style and the journal's reference requirements.
1. Introduction
The Introduction should establish a clear background and statement of the problem, discuss relevant literature, describe the proposed approach or solution, and explain the new value or innovation of the research.
The literature review should help demonstrate the difference between the submitted manuscript and previous studies and establish the research contribution. Citations should follow IEEE Style using numbered references such as [1], [2], and [3].
2. Research Method
Describe the research chronologically, including the research design, procedures, data acquisition, testing methods, algorithms, pseudocode, or other relevant methodological details. The research procedure should be sufficiently clear to allow scientific understanding and evaluation. Methodological explanations should be supported by appropriate references.
3. Results and Discussion
Present the research results clearly and provide a comprehensive discussion. Results may be presented using tables, figures, graphs, or other appropriate forms of scientific visualization.
4. Conclusion
The Conclusion should provide a clear statement of the main findings in relation to the research objectives and discussion. Where appropriate, authors may include prospects for application, development, or future research.
5. Acknowledgements
An Acknowledgements section may be included to recognize individuals, institutions, funding bodies, or other contributors where appropriate.
6. References
References should primarily consist of relevant and up-to-date international journals and conference proceedings. Authors should ensure that references are directly relevant to the manuscript.
Presentation of Tables and Figures
Tables
Tables should be centered, numbered consecutively, cited in the manuscript, and positioned before the related explanation.
Figures
Figures should be clear, appropriately numbered, cited in the text, and presented using an “In Line with Text” layout.
Language, Citation & Academic Presentation
- Use clear, concise, and academically appropriate language.
- Use IEEE citation and reference style consistently.
- Foreign-language terms should be written in italics where appropriate.
- Section and subsection headings should be numbered consecutively.
- Ensure that all tables, figures, and references cited in the manuscript are actually included and correctly cross-referenced.
