The submission and peer review process for manuscripts are free of charge. However, if a manuscript is accepted for publication, the author(s) are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover publication costs, as the JITSE Journal is independently managed.

Starting from Vol. 1 No. 1, June 2026, the APC is determined as follows:

• IDR 0.00 for domestic authors (Indonesia)
• USD 0 for manuscripts whose first author is from abroad (outside Indonesia)
• USD 0 per page for extra pages exceeding 12 pages, in accordance with the journal template
• USD 5 additional charge for a single-author manuscript
• 25% APC discount for International Authors

Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. All submissions are evaluated solely on the basis of their scientific quality, originality, and contribution to the field, regardless of the author’s ability to pay.

The APC is used to support the journal’s publishing operations, including editorial management, production, online hosting, and archiving. This enables the journal to provide quality publishing services to authors and to maintain the sustainability of its publication process.
